Headlining comedian René Bray, will be starring in the Stand Ups for the Troops National Comedy Tour to benefit Lawyers for Warriors.

Lawyers for Warriors, Inc. was started when a soldier was paralyzed while serving in Afghanistan and during his hospitalization was served with foreclosure papers. Lawyers for Warriors, Inc. provides free legal services to our troops.

Stand Ups for the Troops is a nation-wide comedy tour with the purpose of raising funds for Lawyers for Warriors, Inc.

Starring comedians Bray and Johnny Mac, amongst special guests, will be performing all over the country with multi-city shows in each state. Bray is a nationally touring comedian with 22 years experience in the business. Not only was she the first comedian ever to perform in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, but she has appeared on many national talk shows, has been seen in concert with Billy Ray Cyrus, Little Texas, John K and Steppenwolf, and is an advocate for child victims of sexual assault. Mac has been seen in comedy clubs, colleges, and country clubs all over the US and has opened for comedy stars such as Brian Regan and Lilly Tomlin.

As to why Bray and Mac are dedicating their services to Lawyers for Warriors, Inc., Bray explained, “There’s a healing power in humor and I think in today’s world we need a lot of healing. We can’t abandon our servicemen and women in their time of need when they risk their lives to protect us during our time of need.” Mac said, “Many of our soldiers are coming back from the war only to find their own personal war here at home with legal issues, foreclosures, and more.”

René Bray and Johnny Mac are available for interviews and will be visiting Veteran’s Hospitals as well as wounded servicemen in each city. Also, while on the road, Bray will be recording a video blog on www.renebraycomedy.com so you can watch as their adventures unfold!
